The History of Today's Cross Country
The dream started in 1992 when Marty Smith hosted a Top 20 Countdown radio show at AM 1090 KEXS in Kansas City, MO. The show was very successful and became one of the more popular shows on the radio station. When Marty moved to Denver in 1993, he never forgot about his dream for a syndicated radio show. He was able to record his shows at a studio in Denver, CO in 1995. His first syndicated broadcast was on an AM station in Cheyenne, WY in 1996 . Today's Cross Country is now played in multiple countries and is heard worldwide.
